Our client is a modern firm of chartered Accountants based in the heart of the city of London, who are looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity which will see the role develop into a Senior position within Accounts & Outsourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and review management accounts, primarily on Xero
- Draft commentary on management accounts, highlighting key business insights
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping, monitor cashflow, and prepare VAT returns
- Assist in setting up procedures for new companies and address client queries
- Liaise with clients and the outsourcing payroll team
- Maintain cost-effective work and client confidentiality
- Prepare small/medium company accounts and simple corporation tax returns
- Engage directly with clients to solve queries and handle bespoke tax/accounting projects
Essential Experience:
- Qualified AAT, Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA), or Qualified by Experience
- Proficiency in Xero and Excel
Desirable Experience:
- 2 years in outsourced accounting, handling bookkeeping, VAT, and management accounts
- Knowledge of IRIS accounts production
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Familiarity with Silverfin, Quickbooks, Hubdoc, Sage, Dext, and Expensify
Package:
- £28,000 - £35,000
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- 37.5 hours per week
- 2 days per week remote working
