We are looking for a driven Assistant Financial Accountant to join this growing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Processing transactions, invoices, credit notes, and journal entries
- Assisting with monthly and annual financial reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as vendor payments and weekly payment runs
- Supporting the preparation of quarterly VAT returns and annual statutory accounts
- Contributing to process improvements and business projects
- Providing ad hoc finance support as needed
What We're Looking For:

Essential:

Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulae

At least one year of experience in a finance-related role, with exposure to high-volume, complex invoicing (AP & AR)

A solid understanding of core financial principles (e.g., debits vs. credits, accruals, reconciliations)

A driven personality with a strong desire to learn and excel

Desirable:

Knowledge of statutory accounts or audit processes (IFRS or UK GAAP)

Experience with Sage Intacct finance system
