We are looking for a Payroll Administrator/Analyst to join our small HR team and who will be responsible for overseeing the activities associated with payroll and benefits. This includes tracking and approving working hours for over 300 employees, ensuring accurate timesheet entries and payroll reports are 'right first time', analysing various sets of data relating to bonus payments.
This is a brand new role so it will evolve over time with additional responsibilities and there will also be a requirement and opportunity to support the wider HR team with various tasks. Main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the HR and finance team with the monthly payroll process
- Checking and approving timesheet entries for all staff across the business
- Ensuring absence records are maintained accurately
- Maintaining accurate employee pay and bank account records
- Responding to employee pay queries
- Ensuring GDPR compliance of payroll data both internally and externally
- Processing starters and leavers
- Administration of company benefits (pension)
- Supporting the HR team with adhoc tasks where required
You will need to be a focused individual with excellent attention to detail and confident working under pressure and to strict timescales. Additionally, the following would be beneficial:
- Previous recent experience in a similar role within an HR environment
- Experience using an HRIS (ideally UKG)
- Experience using payroll software (Sage preferred)
- Confident user of MS Excel and Outlook
This is a full time role with possible hybrid working arrangements of a 2/3 day split of office/remote working once all training is complete.
