Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Finance Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role due to continued growth within a global business, offering a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000. The role offers the flexibility of hybrid working with only 1-2 days per week required in the office located in Holywell. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) qualified or working towards it, and has proven experience in a similar finance management role.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our client's operations. You will be responsible for implementing robust financial processes and systems that align with the company's ethos and strategy. Your ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders will be crucial in delivering accurate financial and operational reports. Your involvement in budget forecasting, variance analysis, invoicing integrity, and debt monitoring will directly impact the financial health of the organisation.

  • Implement processes and systems for the site finance team to deliver objectives and contribute actively to the site ethos and strategy
  • Build strong partnerships and maintain relationships with all Operational Managers, General Managers, Customer Senior Managers and their teams
  • Produce both financial and operational management reporting as required, including P&L statements and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure all accruals and prepayments are justified and are in line with accounting standards
  • Participate in the preparation of forecasts and budgets, ad hoc variance analysis and ensure integrity of Invoicing and P&L entries
  • Collaborate with the central finance team to monitor debt relating to the site whilst actioning plans to deal with it

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position will be ACCA or CIMA qualifications or is actively working towards the qualification. A positive attitude fuelling the drive for continuous improvement. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect effectively with individuals at all levels within the organisation.

  • Must be ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) qualified or working towards it
  • Proven experience in a similar finance management role is essential
  • Experience in an environment that includes open/closed book contracts would be advantageous
  • Positive can-do attitude with the ability to seek out continuous improvement opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels of the organisation
