Senior Android Developer - Kotlin, Java, TDD - £60,000-£65,000 Manchester
One of Manchester's flagship employers are looking to onboard a Senior Android Developer, who is ideally security focused with a knowledge of security vulnerabilities and best-practise mitigations. The mobile engineering capability within this digital division has grown considerably over the last 18 months and this is another step forward in continuing to build out the great development squad.
As a Senior Android Developer you would maintain the quality and performance of in-development and newly released products through bug fixing, peer reviews, automated testing and clear documentation. You'll join a mobile engineering team of 20+ working on a wide product suite of Android apps in Kotlin, all of which are available to their global customers (1.8m).
You will be a Senior Android Developer, prmarily delivering in Kotlin, and a lead figure within the team developing new applications across a variety of Android platforms. You will be building robust, high quality native Android apps in Kotlin but will ideally possess a good knowledge of Android Studio, Test-Driven Development (TDD/Junit) and AndroidX/Jetpack frameworks. Experience writing Unit Tests and UI testing in Espresso would also be beneficial.
