I am working exclusively with my client to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the CFO with the production of monthly management accounts, KPI Reporting, Cashflow Forecasting alongside a range of other activities. A key member of this small Finance team, this role is for someone with an interest in a long-term finance career. Knowledge of FP &A, strong financial reporting experience and budgeting and forecasting experience essential.
Key accountabilities:
- Supporting with monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into business
- Analysis of monthly transactional reporting.
- Support the annual budget process and prepare forecasts
- Process month end journals and analysis
- Generate financial statements for internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting with reporting and taking the lead on the finance system
- Cashflow management
- Ad-hoc projects and reporting as required by the CFO
The Person
This will suit someone who has some previous experience working within a finance function and someone who is ambitious, driven and looking for a long-term career within finance. The person needs to be highly organised with a methodical approach and someone with excellent communication skills. The role is fully officed based however offers flexibility.
You will be fully AAT qualified or a part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA accountant. You will have effective time-management skills and be able to prioritise important tasks. You will be dynamic and motivated and be open to change due to the fast-paced and constantly evolving environment and you will have the desire to learn and develop to take on further responsibilities in the future.
