About the Role:

The role of a Trainee Accountant is to provide support on a wide range of accounting services, including tax returns and management accounts. They should provide a professional service for clients and ensure all work is completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Trainee Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing sole trader, partnership, and Ltd company accounts
  • Preparing corporation tax returns
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Delivering the Xeinadin vision and value
  • Representing the firm internally and externally in a professional manner through appearance, conduct and attitude
  • Ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard in terms of timeliness and technical competence
  • Collaborating with team members on larger audit assignments and gaining exposure to tax computations.
  • Conducting bookkeeping work using accounting software.

Key Requirements:

  • Working towards AAT/ ACA/ ACCA or IATI desirable
  • A strong desire to pursue further qualifications and become a qualified Accountant.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work methodically.
  • Proficiency in Excel and basic IT software packages.
