Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an independent Planning, Design and Development Consultancy in Oxfordshire on the hire of a Planning Director to help drive forward and support the ongoing growth of the team. This is a permanent and full-time position.
The company
The company is based in South Oxfordshire and covers town and developing planning, and urban design. There are 8 staff involved in the business who provide professional services to commercial clients, house builders, landowners, local government, NGO's, third sector organisations as well as private individuals and trusts!
The role
The role of Planning Director will require the candidate to assist in the growth and smooth running of the business through winning business, coaching team members and helping to deliver projects through the following services;
- Planning Applications
- Planning Appeals
- CIL, S106 and Viability
- Land Promotion and Appraisals
- Legal and Enforcement
- Neighbourhood Planning and Development Plans
- Design Services
Requirements to apply
- MRTPI
- Significant planning experience
- Private sector experience ideally
- Business development experience ideally
- Experience with supporting/managing team members
- Strong communication skills
