Electrical Site Installation Coordinator

Salary Circa £48k depending on experience.
39 hours per week.
lunchtime finish on a Friday
- Death in Service Cover

- Holidays 25 days increasing with an additional day each year up until 28 days after 3 years + plus Bank Holidays.
- Company shutdown at Christmas necessitating the need to retain 3 days annual leave for this period.
- Pension - Employer contribution rate currently 5% increasing to 6% in July 2025
An established and award-winning engineering firm that offers end-to-end services, including design, fabrication, machining, installation, and maintenance are now keen to recruit an Electrical Site Installation Coordinator, to assist with day-to-day site electrical activities and electrical projects.
ESSENTIAL TO APPLY
- Engineering background.
- Qualified 18th edition or equivalent.
- Experience with industrial machinery.
- Experience on Chemical / Process plant.
- Good planning skills
- Computer literate
- Driving license
- Health and Safety training
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE - BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
- Safety Passport.
- Experience with electrical trace heating.
- Inspection/testing paperwork knowledge - (NICEIC)
- Electrical installation knowledge - (Time served / been on the tools)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage multiple concurrent projects / day works working alongside the EC&I manager, Electrical Design Engineers & Mechanical Project Managers.
- Manage site electrical team.
- Plan day-to-day work activities.
- Plan required site permits.
- Manage on site materials.
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to the mechanical project team.
- Completion of test certificate sand paperwork.
- Control job costings.
- Provide ad hoc low value quotations.
- Develop and improve client relationships.
