About the role

Join our Data and Analytics team in Brighton where you'll work closely with the Principal Data Architect to improve the data, and analytics infrastructure and support the integration to a new ERP system.

  • Work alongside the Principal Data Architect to drive architecture and governance improvements aligned with the Data & Analytics roadmap, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Design and implement data models and pipelines for data integration and reporting, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to conceptualise, develop, and launch features and functionalities, contributing to a dynamic and agile data environment.
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive business data dictionary, promoting our vision of a single source of truth and empowering teams to become data literate.
  • Encourage best practice standards and principles by actively mentoring colleagues, and creating a culture of excellence.
  • Stay up to date with relevant technologies and industry trends to provide strategic insights that inform decision-making and enhance our data capabilities.
  • Gain and apply broad systems knowledge to support the Data & Analytics team in executing business-as-usual tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor, manage, and optimise relevant data services; analyse, troubleshoot, and fine-tune systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Oversee data governance and security practices, ensuring adherence to data privacy regulations and the integrity of sensitive information.

What are we looking for?

  • Extensive experience in a similar role working with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching wider team members to upskill and meet project goals.
