From September 2025, we are seeking to appoint an experienced SENCO who, with the support of the Senior Leadership Team and the SEN department, will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the SEN policy, SEN information report, and provision made by the school for pupils with learning difficulties or disabilities. You will work closely with staff, parents/carers, and other agencies to ensure that each child receives the support they need to succeed. Your role will also include providing professional guidance to staff to help ensure high-quality teaching and the effective use of resources to secure an inclusive education.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of leading a SEND department and collaborating with external agencies
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
- A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of students
- A NASENCO qualification is desired but not necessary.
