Tax Manager

A highly respected law firm with multiple offices are currently seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join a small yet established and knowledgeable Tax team, working alongside an award winning team of Private Client Solicitors. The firm pride themselves on their staff-centric approach, long-standing client base (predominantly HNWi) and low staff turn over.

The successful Tax Manager will be responsible for a varied work load to include (but not limited to):

  • Providing advice to clients, trusts and businesses on tax relating to capital gains tax, inheritance tax, stamp duty, income tax etc.
  • Supporting the Private Client Solicitors
  • Compliance and advisory work

The successful Tax Manager will offer the following background/skill set/qualifications:

  • Be FCCA or ACCA qualified
  • Ideally have CTA and/or STEP qualification
  • Have at least 2 years experience in a similar role (Tax Advisor, Tax Manager, Tax Senior etc.)
  • Have strong technical experience in matters such as income tax, tax planning and property taxation
  • Be a keen team player
  • Be commercially aware
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision
