Do you have experience leading a high performing sales team within the healthcare sector?

Our client is a private hospital based in Glasgow who are seeking a driven sales and marketing professional to join their team. You will be responsible for generating growth in patient activity and revenue, for both the medical and cosmetic divisions of the hospital. The successful applicant will be an integral part of hospital management, leading a sales team and working closely with the senior leadership team and other key stakeholders to contribute to a successful, evolving marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with key stakeholders, including GPs, Consultants, and other groups to increase referrals and awareness of the hospital's services
  • Leading and managing a cosmetic focused sales team
  • Securing strong communication channels with key stakeholders & GP's
  • Organise internal and/or external events, CPD events, conferences and briefings for GPs and other referrer stakeholders
  • Organising patient events to increase awareness of the hospitals services and generate patient and customer demand
  • Contributing to marketing strategies with the management team and external partners
  • Maximising benefit from the CRM system, both in terms of managing ongoing customer engagement, and producing value-add analysis which will drive activity generating initiatives
  • Review prices on a regular basis to ensure we are competitive against our competitors for outpatient and inpatient fees
  • Ensuring both the team and wider hospital key performance metrics are achieved
  • Reporting on monthly sales and marketing strategy to the senior management team
  • Working closely with external agencies on website development and SEO
  • Manage the department's operational excellence framework in line with the hospital operational excellence framework - inclusive of; engaging staff in improvement, recording/monitoring metrics, undertaking audits and leading improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Experience of leading a sales orientated team
  • CRM and sales programs knowledge and experience
  • Proven commercial experience within a marketing business development environment (ideally within healthcare)
  • Able to prioritise workload whilst always providing a professional and positive impression
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Commitment to self-development with ability to demonstrate in depth knowledge of key policies and themes in healthcare provision in the UK
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data and statistics e.g., activity trends, financial data
  • A strong focus on customer care and engagement
  • Strong sense of quality and ability to lead by example, ensuring that customer service is given high priority
