My client are a leading, well established freight forwarder they are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join their successful team!
Daily duties will include:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through networking, cold calling and attending industry events
- Implementing sales plans achieving defined growth targets and sales quota
- Maintaining and expanding existing business
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to compile proposals and presentations for prospective clients
- Prepare regular reports for management to track business development actives and results
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients
Experience needed:
- Freight forwarding experience is essential
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Working hours:
- Monday - friday 0900am -1730pm
