At our successful Haverhill branch we are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumbing and Heating Specialist.
With busy times ahead and expansion plans underway you will play a key role in the sale of the full range of the branches plumbing and heating products. Saturday working is a requirement for this role and you will be expected to work every other Saturday throughout the year
Responsibilities and Duties
- Giving excellent customer service and sound product advice
- Providing quotations for customers
- Purchasing materials and managing stock levels for the category
- Dealing with customers both face to face and over the telephone
- Taking a proactive approach to plumbing and heating sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale.
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Picking and checking orders accurately
- Checking supplier deliveries
- Storing stock safely
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
Qualifications and Skills
- Sound plumbing and heating product knowledge is required for this role
- Previous sales experience in a plumbing and heating merchant environment or a builders merchant environment is essential
- Confident dealing with customers
- The ability to build great customer relationships
- A good telephone manner, excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- Computer literate
