Seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong development background for a 6-9 month contract (Inside IR35) in the fintech/banking sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead AWS infrastructure migration using Kubernetes, ECS, and "lift and shift" strategies
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Optimize and maintain cloud-native applications in a fintech environment
Required Skills
- Extensive experience with AWS services, particularly ECS, EKS, and related technologies
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Strong background in software development
- Expertise in Terraform and infrastructure as code practices
- In-depth understanding of fintech/banking sector requirements and regulations
- Hands-on experience with PCI-DSS compliance in cloud environments
- Implemented secure, scalable payment processing systems using AWS services
- Designed high-availability architectures for real-time trading platforms
- Optimized performance for high-frequency transaction processing systems
- Familiar with regulatory requirements specific to financial services (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II)

- Day Rate: £450-£550 per day
