We are looking for Year 1 teachers to fill exciting teaching opportunities in primary schools in Plymouth and the surrounding areas, including Plymouth, Ivybridge, Torpoint, Tavistock, Saltash, Yealmpton, and South Hams!

The Job Role
We are looking for a teacher with passion and desire to educate and guide the young minds of our future. You will be able to adapt to different environments, engage students with invigorating ideas, and radiate positivity throughout the placement.
We cover day-to-day, short-term, and long-term supply and are always on the lookout for Year 1 teachers, cover supervisors, HLTAs, and teaching assistants to join our team.
Part-time and full-time applicants are encouraged to join!
About the School
Our dedicated consultants have a close relationship with our primary schools, and we cover a variety of warm and welcoming schools (independent/mainstream/SEN) from small village schools to larger inner-city schools, both in Plymouth and Torquay.

Primary Teacher Responsibilities
- Delivering cover lessons with planning included
- Following safeguarding and school policies
- Marking work as needed
- Liaising with school staff
Primary Teacher Essentials
- QTS or ECT status (applications from other teaching backgrounds also welcome)
- A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (we can assist you with your DBS application!)
- Up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum
- Reliability
- Excellent communication skills
