management accounts
production,
statutory accounts

variance analysis

budgets

forecasts

Role:
Assistant Management Accountant
Location:
Nottingham City Centre
Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office / 2 days working from home each week
Package: Up to £30,000 + Study Support
Role duties include the following:
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts, including those for foreign subsidiaries.
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and business forecasts.
- Conducting overhead and variance analysis.
- Management of the balance sheet, including fixed assets, accruals and prepayments, and reconciliations.
- Assistance with auditing procedures.
- Ad-hoc duties for the Financial Controller when required.
For this role, it is important that you are:
- Part-Qualified in AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA and actively pursuing becoming qualified in the future.
- Possess previous experience with month end procedures within an industrial setting.
- A comfortable user of excel and accountancy systems.
- Enjoy being part of a collaborative team.
