On top of the day-to-day duties, there is plenty of scope for YOU to introduce new accounting reporting and procedures to drive best practice
Experience with FX/hedging and import experience would be useful but not essential

The business has been trading for 30+ years and is renowned for its customer excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a blend of technical, commercial, and operational accounting experience to work in a new role that has been formed due to change in business ownership
Key duties will involve:-
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Cashflow forecasting
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Payroll preparation and submission to bureau
- Profit and loss margin analysis by products
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process
- Oversee stock management system
- Present key financial information to senior management
- Key contact for auditors and banking partners
- Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and IT systems
- Management of a small finance team / HR administration
- Liaising with auditors for year-end statutory accounts preparation
