Reed Business Support are representing a Middlesbrough based client within the Construction industry who are looking to appoint 2x permanent Business Development Executives.

  • Working hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30 – 16:30 and a 15:30 finish on a Friday if KPIs are hit - this is a desk based role within the office*
  • After your probation period, you are entitled to 3x days additional holidays on top of your normal holidays for emergencies AND 9x days per year to WFH if you need to.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Proactively source and identify new business opportunities through research, outbound calls, and digital channels.
  • Build and maintain a prospect database of potential clients.
  • Qualify leads based on specific criteria, ensuring they align with our company's target market.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide high-quality leads that convert into business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of lead activity and engagement in the CRM system.
  • Contribute to achieving monthly lead generation targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in lead generation or a similar sales support role, ideally in B2B sales.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable using CRM software and other lead generation tools.
