We are currently seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to provide invaluable support to one of our warm and welcoming schools in North Manchester. This full-time position will commence after the summer break, offering an initial temporary contract that could potentially lead to a permanent role with a school contract.
Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role within the SEN department of a secondary school, providing comprehensive support to students. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks, including general classroom assistance, delivering targeted withdrawal interventions as directed by the class teacher, and fostering a stimulating environment for students to thrive.
Working Hours: 8:20 am - 3:30 pm
Your day-to-day activities may include:
- Implementing effective strategies to support students in achieving their learning goals
- Assisting with the planning and organization of engaging learning activities
- Monitoring student responses and accurately recording their achievements and progress as instructed
- Taking on the responsibility of safeguarding the young people in your care
- Contributing to the creation of a dynamic and inspiring learning environment
At Tradewind, we offer highly competitive rates of pay, ranging between £80 and £90 per day, depending on the role and your level of experience.

- Possess relevant experience working with school-aged children
