Service Technician

Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is looking to hire a Service Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, servicing, and repairing Passenger Boarding Bridges and related equipment at airports across various sites. Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, service, and repair Passenger Boarding Bridges and related equipment.
- Work with mechanical and electrical components such as 3 phase motors, switchgear, PLC controls, roller bearings, chains sprockets, and hydraulics.
- Complete job sheets accurately for administrative purposes.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
- Follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
- Organise work efficiently and show initiative.
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and excellent approach to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Experience in the mechanical and electrical industries.
- NVQ level 2 or higher (desirable).
- Right to work in the UK (essential).
- 5-year traceable work/education history.
Benefits
- Days: Monday - Friday 08:00 to 17:00, 40-hour productive week, Nights: Sunday- Thursday 20:00 to 05:00, 40-hour productive week
