Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About Us:

We cater to students aged 2 to 19 with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and other associated conditions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support each student's unique learning journey.
  • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists to provide holistic support to students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to provide regular updates on student progress and work collaboratively to support their child's development.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience or training in supporting students with special educational needs, particularly in areas such as ASC, ADHD, MLD, SLD, and associated conditions.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, but we welcome applications from unqualified teachers with relevant SEND experience.
  • A compassionate, patient, and dedicated individual with a genuine commitment to supporting the well-being and development of SEND students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A proactive approach to adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of each student.
