About the role

The Estates team consists of professional surveyors where the primary focus is on driving value out of our estate, supporting stores to trade, disposing of surplus property and maximising income producing opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our property team as an Estates Administrator. You will be responsible for your own work load whilst also being multi trained to be able to cover other administrator tasks.

Key Responsibilities

The Estates Administrator undertakes general property administration duties that includes but is not limited to:

  • Being the first point of contact for landlord, landlord agents and local authority account changes by obtaining legal documentation to allow system account changes to be made whilst adhering to controls and compliance requirements, advising changes to ensure we pay the correct landlords and accounts in a timely manner.
  • Assisting surveyors and updaters in maintaining Real Estate (SAP) Payment system.
  • General administrative duties: Distribute and collect general post, arrange meetings, file management, scanning and much more.
  • Dealing with a wide range of queries via email and phone, collating and providing information, documents, and plans.
  • Will be multi trained to cover other administration work tasks.
  • Raising payment requests.
  • Raising of Purchase orders and receipting invoices.

What you'll need to have

We are looking for a methodical individual who has an excellent set of administration skills along with a financial understanding along with drive and energy and who is keen to learn and understand.

  • Being able to deal with a diverse workload.
  • Be well organised
  • Have an eye for detail.
  • High level of competence in Excel.
  • Excellent communicator, able to build effective relationships within the business and with external partners.
  • Being a great team player, collaboratively working with a team of professionals whilst building relationships with key internal customers and external partners.
  • having a can-do attitude and mind-set of continual improvement in processes and systems
