Requirements
The candidate must show Extensive experience in Occupational Health nursing and proven Experience of Management.
Working Well Occupational Health Service is a member of the Health @ Work network of Occupational Health Units in England. The service is hosted by Gloucestershire Health and Care Services NHS Foundation Trust and provides Occupational Health services to the NHS Health community within Gloucestershire. In addition the service has a sizeable external portfolio of non-NHS, private and public clients. Services are provided to approximately 20,000 employees in total.
The Services main Headquarters is at Rikenel Montpellier Gloucester with additional services provided at satellite sites throughout Gloucestershire and Herefordshire for NHS and non-NHS organisations
To provide clear visible professional Occupational Health (OH) advice and support in order to effectively promote the ethos and practice of OH to both management and employees.
To meet the OH needs of NHS Trusts, as well as a wide range of other clients from both the private and public sectors.
To work autonomously and as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
To manage and provide professional leadership to junior OH nurses and the wider multi-disciplinary team within Working Well.
To undertake/supervise specific projects, audit and research related to the professional development of OH nursing.
To assist the Nurse Manager in leading and advancing clinical practice in line with DOH guidelines and legislation.
To take a senior role in the in the development and provision of a high profile and pro active occupational health service
To maintain confidentiality in line with professional guidelines.
We also offer a £250 bonus for starting this contract this will be paid out to you after 150 hours completed (4 Weeks)
