As a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining outdoor spaces to the highest standards. Your responsibilities encompass a diverse range of tasks, requiring both practical expertise and effective leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate safe handling of gardening equipment and machinery.
- Operate various types of petrol machinery proficiently.
- Perform tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, hedge cutting, irrigation, planting, and de-weeding.
- Conduct garden clearances to maintain tidy and presentable outdoor spaces.
- Ensure gardening equipment remains operational by adhering to manufacturer's operating and care guidelines.
- Uphold a safe working environment by strictly following procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Ensure all work is carried out and completed to the highest standards.
- Implement safe work practices in accordance with the company's Health & Safety policies.

The Person
- Essential experience in gardening and grounds maintenance.
- Driving License required
- Previous proficiency in operating gardening machinery.
- Demonstrated attention to detail in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Possession of a clean driver's licence.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (preferred).
- Work location primarily on the road, covering various areas as required.
