Horizon Teachers are working with a Lewisham based SEND school who are looking for an experienced Teacher to join their team to support KS2 children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities, particularly Autism (ASD).
The school aims to support learners with a range of special educational needs and disabilities by using a specialised approach with each individual to help them achieve academic targets as well as helping them become independent and functioning members of their community.
Key attributes:
- Experience working with Primary aged children with SEND
- Be able to plan and carry out lessons, and tailor support to individual needs.
- Carrying out behaviour management in line with the school's policies and procedures
- Be able to support student with their academic and personal development.
