Challenge TRG is looking for candidates to work with their well known client as a Production Operative in Manchester, M23 9DR.
Your salary as a full time Production Operative:
The annual salary of this position is £29,952.
Typical hours as a full time Production Operative:
You will be working on 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Your role as a Production Operative:
- You will be responsible for the efficient running of the production lines, ensuring that production plans and targets are met.
- To ensure the correct raw materials and packaging are available at the work site prior to start of production.
- You will start up, run, and shut down designated plant to set procedures.
- To report errors in an efficient and timely manner.
- To accurately complete any paperwork necessary.
- To ensure the materials and product are handled in a hygienic environment, safely and to specification in compliance with Food Legislation.
- To ensure that the provided PPE is for the allocated job and, that this is correctly worn, used, and maintained.
What we are looking for in a successful candidate
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail, ability to solve issues.
- Able to ensure good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards throughout shifts.
- Adapts well to a fast paced, high-pressured environment.
- Experience of working with FMCG/food manufacturing and HACCP knowledge desired but not essential.
- Basic Food Hygiene qualification and knowledge of computer-based systems desired but not essential.
