Employer Description:

We are a public body established in 1996 to provide valuation services to four Councils: City of Edinburgh, East Lothian, West Lothian and Midlothian! We are responsible for compiling, maintaining, and dealing with appeals for the electoral register, council tax valuation list and valuation roll!

Overview:

We are looking for an Digital Support Apprentice to join our busy team in Edinburgh to work towards a SCQF Level 6 Apprenticeship. The learner will be on rotation across a variety of business departments to become efficient in all systems and use the skills learned to implement digital efficiencies moving forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Working within the business support team by maintaining the iTrent System with payroll data, maintenance of staff leave, car leasing and insurance documentation
  • Becoming the first point of contact for processing applications for the electoral registration, dealing with planning permissions, building warrants and front line customer support
  • Processing customer information onto the CRM Eros System (Electoral Registration Operational System) and becoming a superuser within Civica, Domestic Survey System and Commercial Valuation System (inhouse systems used for council tax list and valuation list)
  • Assisting the Governance Team by adhering and rolling out Data Protection Policies and Procedures, updating data shared agreements and collaborating with other departments on information requests or matters
  • Utilising Emperform to process performance reviews within the HR department
  • Facilitating all project management and provide an internal audit service monitoring the key invoices
  • Using SharePoint (intranet) to provide PA Support to the assessor and provide general administrative provision across the organisation

Salary:

  • £22,495 per annum

Working hours:

  • Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm, Friday 9am - 4:30pm. 37 hours per week
