Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Tranent, East Lothian
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker with really good experience working with individuals with learning difficulties based in East Lothian. In this role, you will be supporting adults with learning difficulties in their own homes.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assisting with social activities
- Providing moving and handling support
- Offering personal care
- Providing companionship, listening, and offering emotional support to enhance well-being
- Assisting with medication management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months UK experience working directly with learning difficulties
- Experience with challenging behaviour and moving and handling
- Valid right to work in the UK
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Eligible to register or be registered with SSSC
- A driver's license is preferred but not essential
