Salary: £26,523 - £30,786 per annum

Payroll Finance Advisor Maternity Cover – The Role:
Our wizard-like Finance team are searching for a Finance Advisor to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover) covering Payroll activities.
In this role, you will provide administrative support to the financial business process of the Finance team. You will administer and process payroll for college staff, undertake month-end and year-end processes and provide support to staff for online payslip and P60 enquiries.
Payroll Finance Advisor Maternity Cover - Key Responsibilities:
- Administration and processing of payroll for staff
- First point of contact for the following statutory & non-statutory New College agencies and stakeholders: HMRC, Department of Work & Pensions, Give as you Earn, Trade Unions, funding agencies, Association of Colleges, Local Government Pension Scheme and Teachers Pension Scheme
- Liaising with other agencies relating to payroll deductions as required e.g. childcare vouchers, attachment of earning etc. 4. Undertake payroll month-end and year end processes
- Adhere to set deadlines, whilst maintaining full and complete accuracy
- Provide support to all staff for any ‘on-line' payslip and P60 enquiries
Payroll Finance Advisor Maternity Cover – You:
To apply for this role, you will need a minimum of a Level 2 business-related qualification (AAT, Business & Administration etc.), previous experience working in Finance or a cash handling environment, able to meet tight deadlines, manage workload effectively and have a high attention to detail and decision-making skills.
