We are currently recruiting for a Governance & Control Administrator on behalf of our client, one of the leading brands in the UK insurance market.

The role will involve exploring key business processes and wider insurance market practices linked to running and enhancing a well-governed operating model.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful and growing insurer, and develop your skillset within Underwriting governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring regulatory tasks and escalating issues of non-adherence.
  • Coordinating and assisting with annual divisional file reviews.
  • Issuing letters of underwriting authority.
  • Overseeing annual reviews of underwriting policies and procedure manuals.
  • Assisting in the production of MI.
  • Tracking / following up on actions from reviews and governance meetings.
  • Providing support on other projects / initiatives as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • Must have experience of working in an insurance regulatory environment, with quality control experience.
  • Experience of handling sanction queries is preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail.
