Semi Senior / Accounts Senior
Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Elevation Recruitment Accountancy & Finance are excited to be working with a growing practice in Rotherham, currently seeking an experienced Semi Senior to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client bookkeeping efficiently
- Oversee and take ownership of your own portfolio of clients
- Prepare complex financial statements for companies
- Compile interim management accounts
- Complete personal tax returns
- Prepare accounts and returns for partnerships
- Review and submit quarterly VAT returns
- Handle VAT registrations and deregistration
- Attend client meetings, interacting with directors and business owners
- Handle company secretarial duties
- Work within set budgets to meet monthly targets
- Assist with other general accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Previous experience in an accounting practice
- Proficient in either Sage 50, Xero, QuickBooks or Iris
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Sage Business Cloud (advantageous)
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Strong record-keeping skills
