A top competitor in the luxury drinks industry in the Glasgow area is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as a Payroll analyst. This individual will join the team on a 12-month contract. The position is Hybrid with the hours of work will be Monday to Thursday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. Friday 8:00am till midday and flexible work is offered. On-site parking is available with great public transport links.
Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for; end to end payroll, monthly payroll runs, analysing data, checking for variances, performing reports back to management, bank journals, reconciliation of payroll accounts, administration of year-end returns and making payments to third parties. Deal with sundry payroll matters such as p45/p60/P11D & End of Year Processes.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in the role, you will have relevant experience in a similar role within payroll and be a proficient user of Excel. Ideally, over 3 years of end payroll experience. You will also be able to work to tight deadlines on your own and as part of a team. You will be experienced at running both weekly and monthly payrolls. Experience working closely with Hr Teams.
