Hays are seeking a Cover Supervisor to oversee groups or whole classes in the absence of a teacher due to illness, personal reasons, or planned professional development. When not required to cover lessons, you will provide administrative support to meet the needs of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students and deliver pre-prepared resources in the absence of a teacher
- Promote student engagement and support their progress
- Create a calm and productive learning environment
- Set and maintain high expectations and standards
- Follow school systems to ensure a disruption-free learning environment
- Establish positive relationships with students
Role Details:
- Teach students across the secondary age range
- Deliver lessons using pre-prepared resources across multiple subjects
- Ensure students complete assigned work to the best of their ability
