A membership organisation based in Belfast are recruiting for a paralegal on a temporary basis.
Your new role
As a paralegal, you will provide assistant to Senior Legal Officers, representing and supporting members.
Duties include:
- collate and assess evidence provided by members.
- Register disputes
- Taking statements, drafting and proof reaching
- Preparing document bundles for hearings.
- Undertaking legal research
- Preparing legal documents, including instructions and briefs to barristers
- Filing documents with relevant authorities
- Supporting barristers and solicitors at hearings.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a degree in law and experience in employment law.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
