Stonewater are now seeking a Cyber Security Manager - someone to ensure that IT systems, technology and data are protected by delivering a best practice approach with security measures across business applications and infrastructure. A 'secure by design' approach is applied to all new systems and this role helps bolster the organisations approach to cyber security.
It's a hands-on role - a role where you will have to lead on cyber security for Stonewater and ensure that existing systems and new projects have appropriate security measures in place. The Security team help implement security technologies and remediate security issues and vulnerabilities on existing systems through effective monitoring and reviewing emerging issues from suppliers, vendors and security news sources.
The role of Cyber Security Manager will be at the forefront of cyber security technology and practices, as we evolve as an innovative, digitally focused housing association!
The ideal candidate will:

Hold a recognised security certification such as CISP, CISM, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.

Have proven experience in a Cyber Security lead or management position.

Have proven technical experience in Cyber Security operations, as well as proven experience in understanding and mitigating cyber risk.

Have broad technical knowledge, covering all aspects of infrastructure, from networking, end user devices through to servers and data centres.

Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to systematically break down complex issues and tasks into manageable pieces.

Be skilled in root cause analysis and able to provide possible solutions to problems.

Have excellent documentation skills and be capable of creating security architecture diagrams where required.

Be able to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.

Have proven experience in Network & Cloud technologies.

Have operational, hands-on experience of managing security across the following technologies;

Firewall management including WAF and DDoS protection.

Windows server and client security.

Windows Active Director and group policy.

End Point Protection.
-
Email protection.
-
Vulnerability management.
-
Web Filtering technologies.
-
Network technologies.
-
Azure Cloud Security Services, Office 365, Intune, Defender and Sentinel.

Website security.

Mobile device management.
