Butler Rose are excited to be representing a well-established and highly successful firm of chartered accountants in Reading. This is a consultative firm who pride themselves on nurturing strong client relationships and providing a personalised service.
Due to this, their client base is growing and they are keen to recruit an Accounts Senior who can develop into the role and take on a portfolio of accounting clients.
Role Responsibilities:
- Statutory accounts preparation under FRS102 Section 1A and FRS105 for a diverse range of clients.
- Preparation of corporation tax and submission of CT600's to the HMRC
- Experience in completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
- Attend client meeting and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Effectively manage time to ensure work is completed within agreed time and budget
Person Requirements:
- At least 2+ years' experience working in a UK based accountancy practice.
- ACA/ACCAstudier who is ideally part qualified, although candidates at other stages of qualification will be considered.
- Current knowledge of statutory accounting, corporation/personal tax and VAT
- Excellent communication skills and adept and developing and maintaining strong working relationships
