In this exciting role as an Impact Operations/ Data Analyst, you will work closely with the wider impact team and business to analyse over 800 companies data and provide reports. This is a 12 month position with excellent exposure.

Description

  • The Impact Analytics & Insights team is looking for an Impact Analyst to collect, structure and analyse impact performance data from our investee companies. This will include an array of indicators, including financial metrics, jobs, customer numbers, geographic footprint etc.
  • Responsible for collecting data from a variety of sources (impact reports, financial reports, ESG reports) for over 800 companies across our portfolio, and inputting this in our management information system.
  • The Analyst will work in close collaboration with the Investment teams and other Impact Group Teams and will be responsible for inputting key metrics into our reporting database and checking for anomalies, keep a log of all missing data and inconsistencies, and contact investees as needed.
  • The candidate will support the team in conducting various excel based analysis (on impact reporting and performance) using the data collected. This will feed into Annual Report, as well as in our internal performance management tools. We therefore expect a high-quality output which can be used to inform strategy and portfolio management.
  • The candidate will also oversee the migration of existing legacy impact metrics into a new management information system.

Profile

A successful Impact Operations Analyst should have:

  • Excel proficiency is essential. Strong preference for proficiencies in analysis automatization.
  • Good working knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Powerpoint tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to input, quality assure and analyse large quantities of data.
  • Familiarity with accounting terminology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Familiarity with complex data platforms
