HE Projects and Events Officer

This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week.

Day to day duties

  • Supporting the organisation of Graduation and other key HE events, including collating numbers and ensuring all preparations are in place before the event.
  • Delivering and supporting Children's University activities, ensuring administrative and health and safety requirements are in place.
  • Providing information, advice and guidance (IAG) regarding higher education programmes at UCW, entry criteria, selection processes and financial support to students, potential applicants, and their families.
  • Representing the College at UCAS conventions, open evenings and other careers / higher education events.

Required skills and qualifications

  • A Degree or equivalent qualification in an appropriate area.
  • Computer literacy, ideally including Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
