Finance Assistant - About The Role
Responsibilities will include:
Sales Ledger and Credit Control
- Book daily sales receipts (40-50 transactions/day)
- Allocate payments and reconcile sales ledger accounts
- Issue monthly statements of accounts to customers
- Investigate queries and outstanding debts
- Contact clients via email and phone to collect payments
Purchase Ledger and Supplier Management
- Match purchase invoices with purchase orders
- Obtain approvals for service invoices and bills
- Reconcile supplier accounts
- Book credit card transactions and process payments
- Handle expense claims and PayPal transactions
Nominal Ledger
- Assist with weekly bank reconciliations
- Reconcile PayPal activities to online sales ledger
- Run sales reports and support month-end and year-end processes
Ad hoc Projects
- Participate in various projects as needed
