Experienced and qualified teaching assistants needed in North Somerset! We are currently seeking individuals who are available to start work from September and who have a passion for helping students succeed.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 3 months of experience as a teaching assistant or overseas teacher, ideally hold a level 3 NVQ qualification and possess strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
We are looking to fill various short term and long-term vacancies for teaching assistants and learning support assistants in North Somerset from September 2024. We have schools in need of support around Nailsea, Backwell, Yatton, Portishead and more.
The day will include:
- Support the teacher with the lesson plan through preparing learning materials.
- Adapt teaching support according to student's needs.
- Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare.
- Create an engaging, fun learning environment through a range of resources.
- Work with other teachers, parents, and professionals to aid learning.
