Administrator / Health and Safety Assistant

Nottingham - Clifton

£25,361 - £28,507 per annum

Have you got an eye for detail? Can you positively promote NCHA's Health and Safety culture? We want to hear from you!

We're looking for an enthusiastic Health and Safety Assistant to provide administrative support and assistance to our growing health and safety team who provide advice, guidance and support to the whole of NCHA.

As a Health and Safety Assistant, some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide support with policy writing and review;
  • Coordinate and upload health and safety documents on NCHA's intranet;
  • Lead, co-ordinate and maintain up-to-date information held on NCHA's systems and produce management reports
  • Provide general administrative support and assistance to the team
  • Be the initial point of contact triaging enquiries for the Health & Safety Team, providing a first line response to queries received via phone, teams, IT systems and mail

Our next Health and Safety Assistant is someone who is self-motivated and has a willingness to learn new skills. You'll be enthusiastic, have good communication skills and a positive work ethic, with experience in an admin and Health and Safety role.

This is a office based role, working core hours from Monday to Friday. This role will be partially agile (dependent on business needs) and will be based from our offices in Clifton.

NCHA has a set of values which describe who we are, how we work, and what people can expect from us. CLEAR - Caring, Learn, Enthusiastic, Accountable and Resilient - these reflect everything we do and are embedded throughout the organisation. We want someone whose own values align with ours, who cares about what they do and the way they do it.

As an Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident Employer, NCHA welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates including those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups and disabled candidates. As part of our LGBT + Allies Programme, we also welcome applications from members of the LGBT + community and encourage inclusivity in the workplace.
