Quality and Compliance Assistant/PA

What you will be doing

As a Quality and Compliance Assistant/PA, you will coordinate reports for submission to various external and internal bodies, this will see you have oversight on monthly Quality Account Narratives and audit timetables and leads.

Working 37.5 hours a week, you will be providing administrative support across a range of areas including development and review of task and actions required by the hospital and external bodies, having oversight of the Site Improvement plan including adding and tracking actions, proactively liaising with staff to ensure that tasks and actions are completed.

You will also work collaboratively with the Regional Quality and Compliance Lead ensuring that audits are carried out as required.

As part of your role, you will be the Personal Assistant to the Hospital Director. You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support. Some of your tasks include ensuring the Hospital Director's diary and appointments are organised, ensuring all emails are dealt with and attending and minute taking in meetings.

As a Quality and Compliance Assistant/PA you will be:

  • Assisting wards to ensure required standards are achieved.
  • Supporting with information gathering in investigations, highlighting recommendations and tracking action plan progress.
  • Providing information regarding quality, service improvement and compliance.
  • Undertaking various "general office" type processes, including scanning, filing and photocopying.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Secretarial qualification/experience
  • 4 GCSE at Grade C or above (including English and Mathematics) or equivalent.
  • Word Processing skills 50 wpm
  • An understanding of medical terminology
  • Demonstrable experience of minute taking

The Chimneys Clinic is a wonderful 23 bedded service providing specialist care that is specifically designed to support women with Mental Health and or emerging/diagnosed personality disorders.
