We are looking for a Telecom Engineer for a telecom service provide in Huddersfield on perm basis. In this role, you'll play a key role in bridging the gap between telecommunication, IT infrastructure and clients' success. You'll be responsible for the entire lifecycle of installations of Telcom and IT systems in commercial premises: from initial site assessment to ongoing maintenance and user support.
We're looking for someone who:
- Possesses field installations experience involving maintenance, particularly with Avaya IP Office, 8x8, 3CX, and MS Teams systems in commercial premises.
- Has experience with Cat 5E/6 cabling termination and installation.
- Possesses experience with juggling switches, firewalls, Windows servers.
- Can expertly configure and commission VoIP phone systems.
- Thrives in troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Moves and changes within PABX systems
- Has basic networking principles.
- Enjoys providing clear and concise training to users.
- Maintains excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Is detail-oriented and produces accurate reports.
- Has previous engineering experience
Desirable:
Experience using Dynamics 365
Familiarity with legacy systems like Panasonic, NEC, and Alcatel
