Role - Marketing Officer - FMCG / Hospitality industry
Job Spec:
- Develop customer awareness and drive sales
- Support delivering on overall marketing plan and goals – implementing advertising campaigns and activities
- Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
- Conduct regular market research, for example organising surveys/ questionnaires and focus groups
- Organise, market and execute marketing events – assistance with focus groups; taster sessions; assemblies; hospitality events; and cookery classes
- Involvement and input for social media
- Monitor and report on competitor and industry activity
- Continuous development to the website
- Internal communication
- Innovative design creations with clear messages for business tenders, marketing, advertising and communication materials.
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven creativity and innovation, with experience developing and executing marketing campaigns
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InDesign and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in event planning and co-ordination (preferred but not essential)
- Collaborative team player, with a proactive, hand-on attitude
- Genuine interest in food and awareness of current food trends
- Driving license preferred (as sometimes will be required on site)
