Marketing Officer

Role - Marketing Officer - FMCG / Hospitality industry

Job Spec:

  • Develop customer awareness and drive sales
  • Support delivering on overall marketing plan and goals – implementing advertising campaigns and activities
  • Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
  • Conduct regular market research, for example organising surveys/ questionnaires and focus groups
  • Organise, market and execute marketing events – assistance with focus groups; taster sessions; assemblies; hospitality events; and cookery classes
  • Involvement and input for social media
  • Monitor and report on competitor and industry activity
  • Continuous development to the website
  • Internal communication
  • Innovative design creations with clear messages for business tenders, marketing, advertising and communication materials.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven creativity and innovation, with experience developing and executing marketing campaigns
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InDesign and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in event planning and co-ordination (preferred but not essential)
  • Collaborative team player, with a proactive, hand-on attitude
  • Genuine interest in food and awareness of current food trends
  • Driving license preferred (as sometimes will be required on site)
