Reed Accountancy is recruiting for a Management Accountant for our Coventry based client. Responsible for providing financial information and analysis and reporting into the Head of Finance.
The ideal candidate possess a strong analytical mind, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to financial management. This role would suit candidates who have strong bookkeeping skills, ERP systems experience (MS Dynamics), good attention to detail and comfortable with working to deadlines.
Ideally you will be AAT qualified.
Main duties:
- Transactional processing – raising sales invoices, processing purchase invoices, and making CHAPs/BACs payments to suppliers
- Credit control
- Cash management – processing cash receipts/payments, month-end bank reconciliations, daily management of the treasury reserve accounts, managing foreign exchange transactions
- Monthly payroll processing for 20 staff
- Month-end close procedure, closing ledgers, preparing, and processing journals and preparing a final trial balance for review.
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Fixed asset management
- VAT returns, P11Ds and tax analysis
- Monthly Group reporting
- Assisting with YE audit
- Stock control/reporting
- Management of the company credit cards/expense claim processing.
