Description
The successful Management Accountant duties include:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management reviews.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage the annual budget.
- Prepare regular forecasts to ensure alignment with financial goals and industry trends.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate and lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in long-term financial planning and strategy development.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Provide insights into business performance and assist in strategic decision-making.
Profile
To be considered for this Management Accountant opportunity you will be/ have:
- A professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficient in financial modelling and analysis tools.
Job Offer
- A salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum DOE.
- An excellent benefits package, including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
