**Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants -
Full-time - Monday to Friday - £90 - £100 per day
Are you a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced SEN professionals for full-time roles across various schools in the Canterbury area. We are seeking individuals with a broad range of SEN experience, particularly in supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other complex needs. A full driving licence and access to a car are essential, as you will be working across different school settings within Canterbury and surrounding areas.
**The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Extensive experience working with children with SEN across both mainstream and specialist settings
- A proven track record of delivering effective 1:1 support for pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other additional needs
- Confidence supporting the whole class, helping to create an inclusive learning environment alongside the teacher
- Experience implementing individual support plans, using behaviour regulation strategies, and adapting resources to meet diverse learning needs
- A proactive, compassionate, and resilient approach to supporting children with a variety of emotional, social, and learning barriers
**Role Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering individualised support to pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Supporting the wider classroom, promoting inclusion and adapting learning materials
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress and update EHCP targets
- Providing supervision and support during school activities, including break times and school trips
- Encouraging engagement, social interaction, and self-confidence in every learner

**What You'll Need to Apply:
- Substantial experience supporting children with ASD and a range of additional needs in a school environment
- Demonstrated ability to work both 1:1 and as part of the wider class team
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply (we'll refund the £46 cost after 10 days of work)
- Legal right to work in the UK
