Air Export Clerk

We are working with an established medium sized Freight Forwarder who have an exciting opportunity for an Air Export Operations Coordinator.

Role Involves:

  • Deals directly with clients, customs, and agents to ensure the quickest and best movement of cargo throughout the world.
  • Prepare documents necessary to complete Export and customs clearance process.
  • Correctly billing and cost information populated in TMF for accurate invoicing and job costing.
  • Communicate & correspond with other branches and agents for customer satisfaction and ensure excellent service execution.
  • Seek the most profitable mode of shipment yet meet customers requirement for the movement of freight.
  • Communicate with customers regarding disposition of freight, tracking/tracing, routing, and dispatching and rate quotations.
  • Knowledge of UK Export operations and regulations.
  • KPI adherence - DNI/LNR/cost accuracy/ ROTP
  • Ensure Compliance in line with company and industry policies.

Handling General Cargo

Requirements.

  • Minimum of 2 + years Air Export experience.
  • Strong knowledge of rules, regulations for Export documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Previous working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Good Knowledge of MS Word & Excel.

Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm.
Salary £30K to £39K depending on experience
